I hope this message finds you well. As your trusted energy provider, I want to share an important update about our services at Link Energy and how we're working to better serve both households and businesses.

After carefully listening to feedback from families like yours, we're making a change in our service approach. While we have previously invested in Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to offset our electricity supply's carbon footprint, our customer surveys have shown that what matters most to you is:

  • Keeping your energy bills affordable
  • Ensuring reliable service to your home
  • Having access to friendly, local customer support when you need it

To better focus on what you value most, we're making the following changes:

First, we're discontinuing our voluntary REC purchases. This decision allows us to concentrate on keeping your rates competitive while maintaining the high-quality service you expect from us.

Rest assured, our commitment to our community remains strong. Through our local initiatives, like our LED lighting donation program, we're making a real difference right here at home. This summer, for example, we helped Lone Prairie Camp upgrade their entire lighting system, which will reduce both their energy usage and costs for years to come.

We believe in being honest with our customers - you're not just account numbers to us, you're our neighbors. While green energy isn't our focus right now, we're always listening to our community's needs and may revisit this option if it becomes a priority for our customers in the future.
