Performance Marketing Manager [Montreal, QC | Calgary, AB | Edmonton, AB | Dallas, TX]

Job description:

We are a Canadian energy retailer (natural gas and electricity) providing our clients with a clear, simple and controlled way to manage their energy costs backed by WOW level Canadian customer service and a social enterprise brand. Founded in 2014, Link Energy has been experiencing triple-digit growth since we took on our first customer. And we’re just getting started and have our sights set on the U.S markets for 2021.

The Performance Marketing Manager will be accountable for managing the end-to-end digital acquisition efforts for all of our business lines within the Canadian and the U.S.markets. The manager will have 1 direct report with the chance of growing the team as we are a rapidly growing business

The Performance Marketing Manager to oversee our acquisition marketing efforts. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this position will own our acquisition growth targets for the entire business. The position will have broad visibility across the business and will collaborate daily with peers in Brand Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and IT.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all Display, Search (PPC), SEO, Mobile, and Social acquisition channels.
  2. Have a passion for innovation, as well as a tenacity for owning the end-to-end customer acquisition funnel, collaborating across multiple functions, and driving business results for both the short and long term.
  3. Effectively partner with a broad array of cross-functional teams to drive target growth.
  4. Own the overall strategy for bringing customers into our funnel.
  5. Responsible for driving demand/lead generation.
  6. Optimization of all sites, plus customer conversion efforts.
  7. Have a deep understanding of data to drive strategic direction.
  8. Demonstrate aptitude to prioritize opportunities based on impact on the business.
  9. Have the ability to build, lead, empower, and inspire a team of direct reports to do the best work of their lives.

Qualification criteria:

  1. 5+ years overall experience in marketing with 3+ years digital acquisition marketing experience.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, mathematics or applied math, or similar degrees required. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  3. Experience in digital/mobile acquisition marketing in a B2B or B2C environment.
  4. Proven track record in a variety of marketing disciplines experience, including digital marketing, direct marketing, acquisition, product marketing, customer management.
  5. Ability to define strategies based on business goals & customer insights, lead with a hypothesis, and translate them into actionable tests & implementation plans.
  6. Passion for delighting customers & using customer insights to improve end-to-end experiences.
  7. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of focusing on high-impact activities & driving initiatives through to execution.
  8. Innovative thinker with a passion for generating new ideas, nurturing a culture of creativity, & continuing to raise the bar on business performance

Schedule:

  1. Monday to Friday (flexible schedule)
  2. Work Remotely – Covid-19 Only

Compensation– 80,000-90,000 per year + annual discretionary bonus + benefits

Link Energy is currently seeking energetic, outgoing outbound telesales (inside sales) reps to help grow our team on the West island, Kirkland, Greater Montreal.
